It really bl...Dear Stacey, thank you for this post! It really blessed me because I have been feeling called to go 21 or 40 days all-raw as a time of prayer and fasting so that it is committed to Jesus and not attempted in my own strength. I've read that it takes three weeks to make or break a habit, and it was helpful to read that you testified of a breakthrough in the struggle after 21 days. But that something magical can change after 40 days in our relationship with food (or whatever else we are praying and fasting for) is really encouraging! In Biblical numerology I believe the number 40 represents entering into the "promised land". When you spoke of your newfound calm in eating a simple raw food diet, it made me hopeful of entering a metaphorical Promised Land with living foods after 40 days. I know that eating the foods of the earth that God designed and created for our bodies--with all their vital life energy intact--truly promotes healing and the full wellness He desires for us to experience in this life. So thanks again for your encouragement to me! ~MegAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
